English
actor-turned-filmmaker Paul Andrew Williams makes a striking writing
and directing debut with this character-driven thriller, which plays
out against a backdrop of desperation, self-loathing and grinding
poverty in London's underworld. A badly beaten prostitute and a
runaway girl are waiting on a London train platform. They've got
to take the next train to Brighton, or die. How they got there
gradually becomes clear in this tense British thriller.
