A contemporary story of suspense, romance, and unconventional and endearing love; where the search for the unexpected truth is challenged by betrayal and deception.  Set in beautiful Paris and Madrid, this is the story of a young man -- Victor -- who joins a family gathering and realizes that his dying father -- Max -- behaves in the strangest way.  Max seems to hide a secret so deep that it is haunting him, causing him to be afraid of the whole family, especially of his life-long wife.  Why is Max losing his mind precisely this way?  Why the fear?

Distressed by the irrational fears of his father, Victor needs to find an answer and is running out of time.  Victor finds out his father's madness hides an overwhelming secret; one in which the story of his family could reflect something that happened during the last thirty, forty or fifty years in many countries where the dreams of so many vanished.  A secret involving a lie that will liberate them all forever and will put love back as the main force guiding human life, shaking Victor's view of the most important people in his life.
