In the near future, robots will be in every home, doing chores for us. Max, a 40-year-old single mom, sells stolen robots on the black market with her daughter Paula. Their latest robot, T-0, is too old to be recycled at their usual fence. A godsend for Paula, aged 10, who dreams of owning her own robot! Her mother, yet opposed to machines, agrees to keep until another buyer can be found. When Paula’s custody is taken away from her, Max has no choice but to rely on T-0, who is ready to do anything to help.

Robot T-0 was one of the cleverest and most hilarious films at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
