Kurdish shepherd Zagros is stunned to learn that his family has accused his wife of infidelity and that she has fled with their daughter.  Convinced of her innocence, Zagros leaves his family and joins his wife in the west.  While trying to adjust to a new life in a strange city, he begins doubting her.
