Laine, (Jocelin Donahue), a young woman on the run from the law, turns up at The Frontier, a dust-caked motel on the outskirts of Phoenix. With deep bruises on her neck and blood on her hands she’s looking for a place to clean up and maybe lie low for a while. She is offered a job by Luanne, (Kelly Lynch), the owner, and hoping to lose herself in the obscurity of the place, accepts it. But soon Laine realizes she has stumbled into an even bigger and more dangerous situation.
