The body of Florence Varthy, daughter of a well-known entrepreneur, is found dead in her garage. Over the last few months, Florence and her partner, unable to have a child of their own, had faked her pregnancy and arranged for a surrogate mother, which is illegal in France.  Their plan was going off without a hitch … until the birth of the baby.
