At the Festival, Arab and Jewish Israeli chefs collaborate on delectable dishes, working together to transform traditional recipes. Celebrating their unique cultural heritages and their common love of food, the chefs prove that there is no space for religion and politics in the kitchen.

The film is the story of a group of four long-time friends, including a used-to-be-famous actress, her now disabled husband and the writer of her greatest hits. They are retired from the movie business, forming an unusual family in a decaying mansion in the countryside outside of Buenos Aires.
